Black Pepper - Half Cracked
Cracked Black Peppercorns come into their own in cooking. Sear them into pepper steak or Steak Diane; combine with herbs and citrus as a crust for roasted salmon or pork. A judicious pinch wakes up a batch of buttermilk biscuits. Bake a smattering with fresh rosemary and seedless red grapes into a sweet/savory focaccia.
